A prominent financial service company is looking for a Sales Specialist with a deep understanding of the Financial Sector here in Tokyo.  This is the perfect opportunity for someone who would like to leverage their sales acumen, within a growing field of business, especially as the sell-side continues to shrink. 

Your Responsibilities

  • 10 plus years Sales experience, preferable dealing with the Institutional Investor Class
  • Responsible for the day-to-day servicing of a varied group of institutional clients
  • Find opportunities to upsell with existing client base
  • Contributes to the assessment, development and definition of new product ideas, existing product enhancements and capability gaps
  • Enhance client relationships through proactive follow up on issues raised by clients
  • Attends client meetings together with the consulting team in capacity as main point of contact for day-to-day monitoring/servicing issues

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

  • Native Level Japanese Only, and Business Level English
  • A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the financial services industry with a good understanding of client needs
  • Motivated to deliver first class service, balancing the needs of the client
  • Prior experience in financial services or asset management with a natural preference for Analytics exposure
  • Teamwork and motivational skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint
