Our client, a leader in the semiconductor industry, is seeking a Supplier Engineer for Gas Distribution and Chemical Delivery in Tokyo. This role offers the opportunity to lead supplier manufacturing management and project leadership in Japan and Korea, ensuring compliance with SEMI standards and high-purity chemical supply systems. The position offers a competitive salary range of 8M to 11M JPY, with travel opportunities and the chance to work under a non-Japanese manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead supplier audits in Japan and Korea
- Implement SEMI and ISO9001 standards for suppliers
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues
- Advise suppliers on technical improvements
- Evaluate manufacturing processes for key components
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams for new products
- Ensure supplier compliance with UHP standards

Qualifications:

- 5+ years in semiconductor quality or process engineering
- Deep understanding of SEMI standards and contamination control
- Fluent in Japanese and business-level English
- Willingness to travel 30% domestically and internationally
- Experience with supplier quality management tools like 8D, SCAR
- Familiarity with PCA, FMEA, MSA methodologies
- Knowledge of high-purity chemical supply systems
