Our client, a prestigious global financial firm, is seeking a Senior Vice President, Legal Counsel to join their team in Tokyo. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel for securities services and commercial cards
- Ensure compliance with Japanese financial regulations
- Advise on legal matters for investment banking operations
- Draft and review legal documents for financial transactions
- Collaborate with global legal teams on cross-border issues
Qualifications:
- Admitted to practice law in Japan (Bengoshi)
- 5+ years of financial law experience
- Native-level Japanese language proficiency
- Business-level English language proficiency
- Experience with securities services and commercial cards
- Familiarity with investment banking and sales & trading
- Understanding of Japanese financial regulations
