Senior Legal Counsel シニアリーガルカウンセル - Financial Services (JPY 20M+ salary, 4 days WFH)



Our client, a global leader in commercial and personal insurance solutions, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their expanding legal department. This role offers the opportunity to provide legal advice and solutions within a multifaceted global organization, balancing Japanese business demands with global alignment. Key Responsibilities:


  •  Provide legal advice on insurance transactions
  •  Review and draft contracts and legal documents
  •  Manage external law firms
  •  Address amendments to laws and regulations
  •  Investigate and resolve potential legal issues



Qualifications:


  •  5+ years PQE legal experience in regulated industry
  •  Qualified lawyer (bengoshi or foreign bar)
  •  Native Japanese, business English
  •  Experience with insurance law and transactions
  •  Experience managing external law firms
  •  Familiarity with Japanese business regulations

主な業務内容：


  • 法律アドバイスの提供：保険取引に関する法律相談を提供します。
  • 契約書及び法的文書のレビューと作成：法的観点からの文書作成を行います。
  • 外部法律事務所の管理：外部法律事務所との連携を図り、最適な成果を目指します。
  • 法令改正への対応：関連する法令の改正を迅速に把握し、対応策を講じます。
  • 法的問題の調査と解決：潜在的な法的問題を調査し、解決策を提供します。



応募資格：


  • 規制業界における5年以上の法務経験
  • 弁護士資格（日本または外国資格）
  • ネイティブレベルの日本語、ビジネスレベルの英語
  • 保険法および取引の経験
  • 外部法律事務所の管理経験
  • 日本のビジネス規制に精通していること
