I’m hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer for one of Japan’s fastest-growing enterprise AI companies.

Founded in 2023, the company already works with 80+ enterprise clients across financial services, pharma, manufacturing, and other highly regulated industries, and is now expanding internationally.

You’ll be the technical counterpart to client CTOs and engineering teams, owning AI Agent projects from architecture → integration → production.

Think
  • Production AI Agents & multi-agent systems
  • MCP and enterprise system integrations
  • Claude / OpenAI / Agent SDKs
  • RBAC, audit logs, security & governance
  • AWS / Azure / Kubernetes
  • Evaluation, guardrails & observability
  • PoC → production architecture

Why this opportunity stands out
  • ¥12M–25M compensation
  • Recently raised a Series A backed by major global and Japanese investors
  • Work with major enterprises in finance, pharma and manufacturing
  • Build production AI, not endless PoCs
  • Own major architecture and technical decisions
  • Work directly with CTOs and senior client stakeholders
  • Growing internationally across Tokyo, New York and San Francisco
  • Mentor other FDEs and shape engineering best practices

You do not need to already have “FDE” on your CV.
I’d especially like to speak with
  • Senior Backend Engineers / AI Engineers / Solutions Engineers / Tech Leads / Software Architects who enjoy both building systems and working directly with customers.
  • Experience with LLMs, AI Agents, TypeScript, Python, cloud infrastructure or enterprise architecture is highly valuable, but you don’t need to tick every box.
