I’m hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer for a publicly listed consumer tech company launching a new AI Agent business for Japan’s massive food distribution industry.

The company already has:
  • 44M+ app downloads
  • A network covering 35,000+ retail stores
  • Deep relationships with Japan’s leading food & beverage brands
  • Large-scale proprietary consumer, purchase, receipt, and retail data

Now they’re using that foundation to build an AI-native operating layer for manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers.

What you’ll build
  • AI Agents that automate real business workflows
  • AI-OCR and unstructured data pipelines
  • Agent harnesses, guardrails, and durable workflows
  • Full-stack products from frontend to backend and AI infrastructure
  • Production systems using TypeScript, AWS, Terraform and Langfuse

This is a CEO-led 0→1 project, so you’ll work directly with customers, identify the real problem, prototype quickly, and take the solution all the way into production.
