Role Purpose & Strategic Context This role owns the design and expansion of the technical foundation behind the commercial organization's omnichannel strategy. It goes beyond tool administration: you will unify a range of digital platforms with commercial strategy to build a robust, future-ready technical ecosystem. You will drive the technology roadmap, ensure operational quality through precise platform administration, and continuously evolve the digital infrastructure that underpins the organization's omnichannel approach. Key Responsibilities
Define and embed technical and operational standards for the omnichannel platform, enabling high-quality execution across the organization
Own the mid-to-long-term platform roadmap, aligning digital infrastructure with marketing and commercial strategy
Hold business ownership of the digital platform ecosystem — including CRM, websites, and owned media — partnering with both Global and Local stakeholders
Integrate field force activity with digital platforms to enable a seamless, hybrid engagement model between sales and digital
Design and implement the right platform mix to enable precise customer segmentation and personalization
Manage platform data flow and KPIs in partnership with the Performance management team, generating insight for commercial decisions
Own CMS/DAM content and asset management, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across every touchpoint
Lead platform-related projects — budgets, timelines, and alignment with Global stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (a Master's degree or certification in Digital Transformation or Project Management is a plus)
Minimum 5 years of experience in digital platform management, marketing technology, or a related field, with a track record of managing omnichannel infrastructure and digital ecosystem strategy
Skills & Expertise
Hands-on experience with omnichannel platforms such as Veeva CRM, Salesforce, CLM, Approved Email, or marketing automation tools
Strong Excel-based analysis skills, with the ability to work through data flows, system integrations, and platform performance metrics
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring system scalability
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, able to bridge commercial and technical stakeholders
Pharmaceutical or related industry experience is a plus
Language Requirements
English: Basic daily conversational skills in English are sufficient.
Japanese: Native-level Japanese is required.
