We are looking for a Logistics Engineer for a leading company in the logistics and warehousing industry in Tokyo. The role focuses on improving warehouse operations, including storage, put-away, and shipping. The ideal candidate should have experience in logistics processes and strong analytical skills, capable of handling projects from basic to moderately complex.

Responsibilities

Create and implement storage solutions to improve efficiency and use of space.

効率とスペース利用を向上させる保管ソリューションを作成し、実施する。

Develop and improve layouts for logistics flows and warehouse management.

物流フローと倉庫管理のレイアウトを開発・改善する。

Streamline processes to enhance warehouse operations.

倉庫業務を向上させるためのプロセスを効率化する。

Analyze data to find and suggest better space use and productivity.

データを分析し、スペース利用と生産性向上の提案を行う。

Review facility and process designs to get necessary approvals.

施設およびプロセス設計を確認し、必要な承認を取得する。

Specify, purchase, and manage the installation of equipment for warehouse layouts and processes.

倉庫レイアウトやプロセスに必要な機器の選定、購入、および設置を管理する。

Explore new technologies and equipment to boost efficiency.

効率を高める新しい技術や機器を調査する。

Lead projects to improve methods, layouts, and workflows.

方法、レイアウト、ワークフローの改善プロジェクトをリードする。

Provide training and documentation for new solutions.

新しいソリューションのトレーニングとドキュメントを提供する。

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Production Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

物流、製造工学、または関連分野の学士号を取得、もしくは同等の経験があること。

2-4 years of relevant experience.

2～4年の関連経験。

Fluent in Japanese and English.

日本語と英語に堪能であること。

Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

優れたコミュニケーション能力、分析力、人間関係スキルを持っていること。

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., SAP WM, Blue Yonder WMS) is a plus.

SAP WMやBlue Yonder WMSなどの倉庫管理システムの経験があれば尚可。

Strong organizational and planning skills.

優れた組織力と計画力を持つ方。

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

自立して働く能力とチームの一員として働く能力を兼ね備えていること。

Working Conditions / 勤務条件

Mainly office-based with some physical activity.

主にオフィス勤務ですが、一部体力を伴う活動があります。

Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.

必要に応じて最大50%の出張が可能であること。

Must be adaptable to changing work environments.
