A global organization within the manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced legal professional to support a broad range of commercial and compliance-related legal matters in Japan. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders and regional teams to provide practical legal guidance, support operational activities, and contribute to risk management initiatives across the organization.
This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment while handling a variety of legal and compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities | 主な業務内容
- Provide legal support for commercial agreements and business-related contracts
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters
- Support risk management activities, dispute resolution, and external legal coordination
- Assist with compliance initiatives, internal policies, and governance-related activities
- Support data privacy, due diligence, and internal review processes
- Collaborate with regional and cross-functional teams on legal matters and projects
- Coordinate with external legal advisors when necessary
- Contribute to process improvement and legal operations management
Qualifications | 応募資格
- 10+ years of legal experience in Japan
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English communication skills
- Prior in-house legal experience within an international or multinational organization
- Experience with commercial contracts and corporate legal matters
- Knowledge of compliance, regulatory, and data privacy-related matters
- Experience supporting dispute resolution and legal risk management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically as required

- 商業契約および各種ビジネス契約に関する法務サポート
- 法務・規制・コンプライアンス関連事項に関する社内アドバイス提供
- リスク管理、紛争対応、および外部法律事務所との連携支援
- コンプライアンス施策、社内規程、ガバナンス関連業務のサポート
- データプライバシー、デューデリジェンス、内部レビュー対応
- 海外・国内チームとのクロスファンクショナルな協業
- 必要に応じた外部弁護士との調整・管理
- 法務オペレーションおよび業務改善への貢献
応募資格
- 日本における10年以上の法務実務経験
- 日本語ネイティブレベル、英語ビジネスレベル以上
- 外資系またはグローバル企業での社内法務経験
- 商業契約および企業法務に関する経験
- コンプライアンス、規制、データプライバシーに関する知識
- 紛争対応および法的リスク管理経験
- 高いコミュニケーション能力および関係構築力
- 国内出張対応が可能な方
