Legal Counsel 法務顧問, (Flexible WFH, Work-Life Balance)

Our client, a thriving Japanese technology and software company, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their expanding team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on corporate legal and compliance functions, gaining experience in diverse legal areas not typically available in larger corporations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement corporate governance frameworks
  • Prepare and review legal documents for compliance
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities and external advisors
  • Develop and implement compliance training programs
  • Design and operate key governance bodies
  • Provide legal support for business initiatives
  • Handle legal matters related to data privacy

Qualifications:
  • Must be a qualified Japanese lawyer (bengoshi)
  • 3+ years of legal practice experience
  • Japanese language proficiency
  • English language proficiency
  • Experience with corporate governance frameworks
  • Familiarity with the Companies Act and Financial Instruments and Exchange Act
  • Experience in compliance training and whistleblower systems
  • Ability to coordinate with regulatory authorities and external advisors

  • 企業ガバナンスのフレームワークを設計・実施
  • 法令遵守のための法的文書の作成およびレビュー
  • 規制当局や外部アドバイザーとの調整
  • コンプライアンス研修プログラムの開発・実施
  • 主要なガバナンス機関の設計・運営
  • ビジネスイニシアチブに対する法的サポート
  • データプライバシーに関連する法務案件の対応


応募資格：
  • 日本の弁護士資格（弁護士）必須
  • 3年以上の法務実務経験
  • 日本語の流暢なコミュニケーション能力
  • 英語でのコミュニケーション能力
  • 企業ガバナンスフレームワークの経験
  • 会社法および金融商品取引法に関する知識
  • コンプライアンス研修や内部告発システムの経験
  • 規制当局や外部アドバイザーとの調整能力
