Our client, a global technology leader, is seeking a Financial Controller for their Tokyo office in a hybrid and flextime role. This position offers the opportunity to manage financial accounting and reporting for operating units in Japan, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Japanese GAAP, while mentoring a team of finance professionals.



職務内容：


- 財務会計および報告の管理
- 予算監視と予測、差異分析の提供
- 監査法人および税務当局との連携
- 財務専門家チームの管理と育成
- IFRSおよび日本の会計基準への準拠の確保
- 財務プロセスおよびシステムの継続的改善推進


- Manage financial accounting and reporting for Japan Operating Units
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and provide variance analysis
- Liaise with auditors and tax authorities for compliance
- Manage and develop a team of finance professionals
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and Japanese GAAP
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems



応募資格：


- 会計または財務に関連する学士号
- 財務および会計分野での5年以上の経験
- リーダーシップまたはコントローラー職での2年以上の経験
- 日本語および英語の流暢なコミュニケーション能力
- 日本の会計基準およびIFRSの経験
- SAPの熟練度；S4HANAの経験があれば尚可
- テクノロジー業界での経験があれば尚可
- 高度なExcelスキル
- 収益認識方法の理解


- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting
- 2+ years in a leadership or controller role
- Fluency in Japanese and English
- Experience with Japanese GAAP and IFRS
- Proficiency in SAP; S4HANA is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in the technology sector is preferred but not mandatory
- Advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with revenue recognition methods
