I’m supporting a fast-growing FinTech and AI company in Tokyo that works closely with major financial institutions on large-scale system transformation.
They are hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to help modernize complex financial systems using Generative AI, cloud technologies, and their own AI product.

Large-scale financial systems and enterprise modernization

What you’ll work on
  • Modernize large-scale legacy systems at major financial institutions
  • Apply Generative AI and LLMs to real business and system workflows
  • Design architecture and lead technical implementation
  • Build PoCs and turn successful experiments into production systems
  • Develop client-specific AI solutions and product features
  • Work directly with technical and business stakeholders
  • Feed lessons from client projects back into the company’s own AI product

Who they’re looking for
  • Strong software engineering background in web or enterprise systems
  • Experience with architecture design and technical decision-making
  • Ability to structure ambiguous business problems and translate them into technical solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLM applications or PoCs
  • Comfortable working directly with clients and stakeholders

Experience with financial systems, enterprise architecture, cloud migration, modernization, security, authentication, or 0→1 development is highly relevant.
