An international professional services organization is seeking an Events & Marketing Specialist to support regional event initiatives from its Tokyo office. This position will focus on the planning and execution of both in-person and virtual events while collaborating with regional and international stakeholders. The role offers exposure to a multicultural work environment and a wide range of business engagement activities across the Asia Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate in-person, hybrid, and virtual events
Manage event logistics, timelines, budgets, and external vendors
Collaborate with internal teams to support successful event delivery
Support marketing and client engagement activities through events
Coordinate with regional and international colleagues on event planning and execution
Monitor event performance and support post-event reporting and follow-up
Maintain relationships with venues, suppliers, and service providers
Support continuous improvement of event operations and processes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience in event coordination or marketing within professional services or corporate environments
Strong bilingual communication skills in Japanese and English
Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments
Experience coordinating with vendors and external partners
Familiarity with virtual event platforms such as Zoom or Webex
Experience with event management platforms is an advantage
Flexibility to support events outside regular business hours when needed
Ability to travel domestically or internationally as required
Experience working with cross-functional and international teams
