I’m supporting one of Japan’s fast-growing enterprise AI companies, building AI Agents that connect with company data and SaaS tools, understand business workflows, and execute tasks end-to-end.

They are hiring early-career Software Engineers who want to build their careers in AI and gain hands-on experience with production-grade AI systems.

¥8M–14M + Stock Options
Tokyo | Hybrid
Python / TypeScript / Go / GCP / Kubernetes
Claude Code MAX / Cursor / ChatGPT / Devin provided

You can join one of two engineering tracks depending on your strengths and interests:
Forward Deployed Engineering
Work closely with customers to understand real business problems, then design and build AI Agents, workflows, APIs, web applications, and data pipelines from PoC through production.
Core Product Engineering
Build the core platform behind enterprise AI Agents, including Agent Runtime, SDKs, orchestration, memory, model routing, backend services, and shared infrastructure.
You’ll also work on some of the harder problems behind production AI, including:
  • LLM evaluations
  • Observability and monitoring
  • Guardrails and human-in-the-loop systems
  • Reliability, security, and cost optimization
  • AI-native development workflows

Who they’re looking for
  • Software engineering experience in Backend, Full Stack, or AI-related development
  • Hands-on development experience with Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar languages
  • Experience working across requirements, design, implementation, and testing
  • Some experience building or experimenting with LLM / Generative AI applications
  • Fluent Japanese for technical and business discussions
