English Version Digital Marketing Strategy Manager Role Purpose & Strategic Context This role plans, executes, and optimizes digital marketing initiatives aligned with brand strategy, driving HCP engagement and maximizing brand value. Overall omnichannel strategy and governance is owned by a dedicated function elsewhere in the organization; this role brings that strategy to life at the brand level. Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute brand-specific digital initiatives — HCP websites, email campaigns, eDetailing, video content — partnering closely with Product Managers to deploy integrated digital campaigns
Manage and update product websites and membership-based digital platforms; coordinate content development with external agencies and vendors, ensuring quality and regulatory/industry-code compliance
Define and track KPIs for digital initiatives, analyze engagement and performance data, and drive continuous improvement through PDCA
Execute digital initiatives in line with company-wide omnichannel strategy and guidelines, sharing insights, data, and field feedback to support omnichannel optimization
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Medical, Strategy & Performance, IT, and external partners; support evaluation and implementation of new digital tools at the requirements-definition level
Requirements
Advanced degree in business, medicine, or life sciences
10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, including relevant commercial and/or digital marketing functions, with at least 3 years specifically in a marketing role
Experience executing omnichannel strategy and digital promotion
Working knowledge of AI applications in digital marketing
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insight
Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and align stakeholders around shared objectives
Strategic mindset — able to prioritize, make sound decisions, and solve complex problems in a fast-changing environment
Customer-centric approach, with a strong focus on HCP needs, user experience, and business impact
Ability to influence, build trust, and lead change across a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders

Language Requirements
English: Basic daily conversational skills in English are sufficient.
Japanese: Business-level Japanese is expected, given daily collaboration across Sales, Medical, IT, and other Japan-based functions.
