Our client, a hotel in Sapporo, Japan, is seeking a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join their pre-opening culinary team. This role offers the opportunity to support kitchen operations and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced pre-opening environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food items per hotel standards
Assist in daily kitchen operations with Chef de Partie
Ensure food quality and portion control standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen section
Follow HACCP and food safety standards
Support kitchen setup during pre-opening phase
Assist with stock rotation and inventory control
Collaborate with team for excellent guest dining experiences
Qualifications:
Previous experience in hotel or restaurant kitchen
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
Familiarity with HACCP and food safety standards
Ability to communicate effectively in Japanese
Experience in pre-opening hotel environments is preferred but not mandatory
