A highly international subsidiary of one of the world’s most recognizable enterprise groups is hiring an AI Section Manager to lead company-wide AI transformation.

This is a senior role within the Automation & AI organization, combining people management, hands-on technical leadership, and AI-driven modernization.
The mission is clear: lead the internal AI strategy, modernize legacy enterprise systems, and build practical AI solutions that can change how the entire company operates.
You will work closely with business leadership, IT, application teams, cloud and infrastructure, security, operations, and external AI/ML partners.

What you will lead
  • Company-wide AI transformation initiatives
  • AI-driven modernization of legacy enterprise systems
  • Architecture design, prototyping, and implementation
  • Hands-on AI solution development
  • A small, high-impact AI team as Section Manager
Must have
  • Strong software engineering and AI engineering background
  • Experience modernizing legacy systems
  • Architecture design and implementation experience
  • Ability to lead a small technical team
  • Strong stakeholder management across business and IT
Language
  • Japanese and English bilingual ability would be ideal
