Our client, a luxury hotel in Kyoto and part of a renowned international hospitality group, is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance for their new opening in Kansai. This role offers the opportunity to assist the Cluster Director of Finance in Tokyo, providing leadership in financial management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Compile accurate financial management reports
- Supervise day-to-day Finance Office operations
- Ensure compliance with local and corporate policies
- Manage month-end closing procedures
- Conduct accounts reconciliations and analysis
- Oversee internal and external audits
- Manage cash flow and budgeting processes
- Ensure internal control compliance
- Handle operational tax and statutory reporting

Qualifications:

- Hotel finance background
- Japanese native, English conversational
- 5+ years in hotel accounting, 3-year management
- Nissho Bookkeeping 2nd grade or above is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience with financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with Japanese tax regulations is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in forecasting and budgeting is preferred but not mandatory

- ホテル業界での財務経験
- 日本語が母国語で、英語での日常会話が可能な方
- ホテル会計での5年以上の経験、うち3年以上の管理職経験
- 日商簿記2級以上が望ましい
- SAPやOracleなどの財務管理ソフトウェアの経験が望ましい
- 日本の税法規制に関する知識が望ましい
- 予測や予算管理の経験が望ましい
