A global information technology company that provide end-to-end data center maintenance services is recruiting for Service Tech Support.  They are now looking for a Service Technical support to reinforce their team in Tokyo and support their portfolio of clients within the region 

This role can be achieved from a remote location as well (within Japan borders)

About the Company

This company services allow their customers to save their time and money by maintaining their IT systems longer than standard OEM end-of-service dates.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide hardware maintenance service and support for Servers, Storage, Networks
  • Install and configure necessary materials
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism in actions and demeanor.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

  • Relevant Technical background related with IBM, HP and/or Oracle technologies
  • EMC or Netapp knowledge are a good plus to have
  • Perform installs, M/A/C when required.
  • 3 years professional experience in technical support
  • Proficient and experience in enterprise system/hardware troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Ability to analyse and come up with an Action plan 
  • Customer Facing willingness (30% of the job)
  • Fluent Japanese ability and good command of English
