Due to internal mobility a new job opportunity has become available to manage and develop a well-established operations team within a global securities firm.

Your Responsibilities

• End to end management of the bank’s settlement team
• Asset classes covered will be equity, fixed income and cash payments
• Investigation and escalation of any failed / failing trades
• Full trade life-cycle management
• Minimize operational risk and improve processes to further reduce risk
• Promote a culture of risk and accountability
• People development and performance appraisals

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

• More than 5 years banking experience, at least 1 year managing or leading a team
• Knowledge in equity or fixed income (ideally both)
• Strong risk awareness
• Ability to partner with the business and other operations teams
• Proactive, dedicated and driven
• Influential and effective stakeholder management
• English and Japanese – fluent / near native
