We need a Senior Systems Administrator with extensive experience in virtualization for our growing enterprise information management software team.

The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and administering a VMware virtualization environment. the Senior Systems Administrator’s duties include the management of design, configuration, administration, and planning of our virtualization infrastructure.

Good communication is essential for this sole. You will need fluent level Japanese with good English language skills.

Required Skills

• Fluent level in Japanese. Business level English.
• 8 years’ experience, 6 years must be relevant to virtualization.
• 5 years’ experience with Solaris and Linux (Red Hat).
• Batchelor’s Degree.
• Expert in deployment, management, and troubleshooting for VMware vSphere Suite 5/6.
Able to upgrade existing VMware environments to the latest versions.
• Experience with migrating physical servers to virtual machines, and virtual machines to virtual machines.

• Experienced in design and implementation of vSphere 5/6 ESX Clusters, HA, DRS, vSwitches and Distributed Switches.

• Practical experience in deployment, management, and troubleshooting of VMware vCloud Director.

• Practical understanding of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.

• Working knowledge of virtualization and cloud computing concepts and technologies.

• Practical experience with automation and monitoring tools such as PowerCLI, vCenter Orchestrator, Solarwinds and Powershell.
