Junior Buy-Side Credit Analyst

Specialized Group is looking for a Junior Buy-Side Credit Analyst, who would like to take their first professional steps into a career within research, the buy-side or both. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who would like to become a fixed income portfolio manager in a few years time. This would also be an ideal role for someone who would like to move from equities to credit.

Your Responsibilities

• Collection and tabulation of financial data from the bond issuers to support analysts research
• Collection and analysis of economic, industry and corporate-specific data to support analysts’ research
• Work on several administrative functions, including the updating of market and corporate data, and research related databases
• Reporting in both English and Native Japanese

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed 

• Bachelor’s or degree with concentrations in Economics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
• Strong quantitative skills (project experience involving data analysis a plus)
• Proficiency with MS Excel (computer programming skills a plus)
• Demonstrated skills as a team player and ability to work independently
