A US-based company is looking for an Accounting Director for its Japan office. He/she will be responsible for US and Japan GAAP financial reporting, analysis, consolidation, overseeing the accounting policy lead, etc.

Your Responsibilities

• Work with business partners to continue to comply with GAAP/ Company operational policies
• Lead and manage the accounting team of a specific business function (eg. Merchandising Accounting)
• Work with FP&A/Business to align key accounting topics and new business areas
• Work with Financial Reporting for implementation of JGAAP processes and accounting judgements

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

• USGAAP and JGAAP knowledge
• Business Japanese AND English
• Accounting experience in a global company
• Public audit experience
