A famous global fashion brand is looking for a Wellness (Benefits) Lead to start up this function in their Japan office. This is a newly created position, and is a unique role in the Japan market.

This person will plan, deliver, and manage all well-being initiatives and programs by partnering with multiple people in their People & Development department as well as external partners and vendors.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and manage well-being measures for both Retail & Corporate
  • Participate in APAC/Global Wellness Programs and Projects
  • Partner with Employee Communications Team and L&D Team to promote awareness of well-being measures and initiatives or plan well-being workshops
  • Provide statutory reporting to the Labor Standard Office
  • Manage and build relationships with external vendors and partners such as company doctor, EAP, company nurse
  • Manage all aspects of stress checks, leave of absences, overtime management, and annual health checks

Desired qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience administering benefits related to employee care & support, employee well-being or employee health, or relevant HR work
  • B2C industry experience is a plus
  • Fluent level Japanese and Business level english
  • Must be able to keep a high level of confidentiality
  • Candidates qualified as industrial counselors/social workers are also welcome to apply
