International strategy firm is looking for a strategy consulting manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Partners to structure the project
Oversee project execution of project deliverables
Ensure the team is highly functioning, operating in an efficient and effective manner
Provides thought leadership and technical expertise to the team
Builds productive and professional relationships with clients during case execution
Mentors and nurtures junior team members, employing an apprenticeship model to ensure their rapid development
Begins to develop an industry alignment or specialty that is compelling to clients
Candidate Requirements:
6 years of relevant industry or functional work experience showing progressive promotion and achievement
Prior experience with a consulting firm, ideally with a focus on strategic issues
Demonstrated experience in building relationships with clients
Clear project management and team leadership experience
Experience in overseeing complex analytics
Possession of outstanding oral and written communication skills
Superior presentation skills
Experience working with senior management and/or senior-level clients
An advanced degree, such as a MBA, MS, or PhD is preferred

Managers provide thought leadership and creative insights to help identify, clarify, and resolve complex client issues. Managers oversee analyses and manage daily interaction with clients to establish requirements and to ensure assignment progress. Managers interpret and codify results from multiple project components and translate these findings into clear and compelling recommendations and solutions, ensuring integration of multiple pieces against project goals. Managers develop long-term relationships with existing clients during case execution. They actively participate in client presentations and proposal writing.
