As a Principal Backend Engineer, you will lead the architecture and development of highly scalable backend systems powering cutting-edge AI products. You'll drive technical decisions, improve system performance and reliability, mentor engineers, and work closely with AI researchers to bring advanced technologies into production.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of backend engineering experience with large-scale distributed systems
  • Strong system design expertise (databases, caching, messaging, cloud infrastructure)
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms
  • Proficiency in Go, Rust, or C++
  • Experience leading complex technical projects
  • Fluent English and business-level Japanese
