Solution Architect - Global Insurance Firm (HYBRID)

Responsibilities

• Define appropriate and optimum solutions based on the business needs defined by the product owner/s through the user's narratives
• Ensure the solutions are aligned with IT strategy and roadmap
• Ensure to reuse the available IT assets to speed up IT capabilities, deliver value to business faster while reducing waste and duplication
• Identify key business capability gaps, to ensure the strategic and business planning processes address capability gaps within the tribe and to provide hands-on technical solutions to developers within the squads

Requirements

Mandatory

• Currently in Japan
• At least 5 years of IT experience
• At least 3 years of overall architecture discipline experience (Applications, Solution Design)
• Business Japanese fluency (at least N2)
• Business English fluency
• Hands-on technical experience
• Good understanding of software development, testing, change, release and project management methodologies
• Ability to work across different teams
• Ability to articulate the IT architecture direction and enforce on the collaboration

Preferred

• Experience in insurance
• Pure architect experience

Additional Notes

• Business analysts with solid IT background and good communication skills with senior stakeholders are welcome
• Experienced developers with excellent IT skills who want to level up are welcome
