Our client, a top-tier financial institution, is seeking an Operational Risk Specialist (運用リスクスペシャリスト) to join their team at the Senior Associate level. You will be pivotal in strengthening the company's operational risk management (運用リスク管理) strategies and fostering the organization's stability and growth.

Key Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with various teams to identify, evaluate, monitor, and report on operational risks (運用リスク) within a globally unified framework.
• Examine operational risk incidents (運用リスク事象), appraise recurrence prevention measures (再発防止策), and recommend enhancements through risk and control self-assessments (リスク及びコントロール自己評価; RCSA).
• Facilitate discussions, exchange information, and coordinate with global colleagues (国際同僚) and relevant internal departments (関連内部部門).

Essential Criteria:

• Fluency in Japanese (日本語) and English (英語; business level)
• Demonstrated interest in operational risk management (運用リスク管理) and process enhancement (プロセス改善)
• Excellent communication skills (コミュニケーションスキル), encompassing writing and presenting capabilities
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Desirable Attributes:

• Previous experience in risk management (リスク管理; with a focus on operational risk) within the financial sector
• Participation in business process improvement initiatives (ビジネスプロセス改善) or system development projects (システム開発プロジェクト)
• Familiarity with data governance practices (データガバナンス) and regulatory documentation (規制文書)
