Unlike a traditional consulting environment, Data Scientists remain close to the technology, leading projects from problem definition and modeling through production and continuous improvement.
The AI and Data organization is internationally diverse, while client-facing work is primarily conducted in Japanese.

What You’ll Do
You will lead machine learning and advanced analytics projects for major financial institutions while remaining technically hands-on.

Key responsibilities include
  • Lead Data Science and Machine Learning projects
  • Design ML approaches based on real business problems
  • Build and evaluate models primarily using structured / tabular data
  • Lead feature engineering, validation and evaluation strategy
  • Develop solutions using Python
  • Design ML systems with production and MLOps in mind
  • Define monitoring and continuous model improvement processes
  • Work directly with clients and AI Consultants on technical requirements
  • Review code and modeling approaches from other Data Scientists
  • Mentor junior and mid-level Data Scientists
  • Standardize reusable modeling approaches and technical assets
  • Contribute to internal AI solutions and product development

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong hands-on Machine Learning experience
  • Deep experience analyzing structured / tabular data
  • Strong Python skills across model development, evaluation and production
  • Experience independently driving Data Science projects or technical initiatives
  • Ability to define ML problems from ambiguous business requirements
  • Strong understanding of model validation and evaluation
  • Technical leadership and collaboration skills
  • N1-equivalent Japanese proficiency for client-facing work
  • Currently based in Japan

仕事内容
大手金融機関向けのデータ分析・機械学習プロジェクトにおいて、技術面の中心メンバーとしてプロジェクトをリードしていただきます。

主な業務
  • データ分析・機械学習プロジェクトの技術リード
  • 顧客の業務課題を整理し、分析・機械学習の課題へ落とし込む
  • 構造化データを中心とした機械学習モデルの設計・構築・評価
  • Pythonを用いたデータ処理、特徴量設計、モデル開発
  • モデルの評価方法や検証方針の設計
  • 本番運用を見据えたMLOpsの設計・改善
  • モデル監視や継続的な改善プロセスの構築
  • AIコンサルタントや顧客と連携した分析方針の策定、技術提案、要件定義
  • ジュニア・ミドル層のデータサイエンティストへの技術支援
  • コードレビュー、分析手法のレビュー、メンバー育成
  • 再利用可能な分析手法や技術資産の標準化
  • 自社AIソリューションやプロダクト開発への参画

必須要件
  • 機械学習を用いた実務経験
  • 構造化データを対象とした分析経験
  • Pythonを用いたモデル開発・評価・運用経験
  • データ分析プロジェクトや技術案件を主体的に推進した経験
  • 業務課題を分析・機械学習の課題へ整理できる能力
  • モデル評価や検証方法に関する十分な知識
  • チーム内で技術的なリーダーシップを発揮できる方
  • 日本語能力試験N1相当の日本語力
  • 現在日本国内に在住している方
