Our client, a major leader in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a Legal Specialist to manage local legal matters and report directly to the Head of Legal and Compliance. This role offers the opportunity to work autonomously in a compact team environment, with the flexibility of remote work and a focus on work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Review and amend contracts in Japanese and English
- - Consult on legal issues and propose solutions
- - Engage and supervise external law firms
- - Handle litigation with external law firms
- - Plan and execute internal legal processes
Qualifications:
- - 3+ years' experience in international company in Japan
- - High level of English proficiency
- - Experience with Japanese legal system and regulations
- - Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry regulations
- - Ability to collaborate with external law firms
- - Experience in contract management

- 外部法律事務所との協力経験
- 契約管理の経験
