Legal Counsel 法務顧問

A growing technology-focused company is seeking a Corporate Legal Specialist to support legal and compliance operations in Japan.

This position will work closely with internal stakeholders on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and commercial legal matters while supporting the company’s continued business growth. The role offers flexibility through remote work arrangements and opportunities for long-term career development.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development and maintenance of corporate governance and compliance frameworks

Prepare, review, and manage legal and corporate documentation

Conduct legal and regulatory research related to corporate compliance requirements

Coordinate with external legal advisors and relevant authorities when necessary

Assist with internal policy development and compliance initiatives

Provide legal support for new business activities and operational projects

Handle legal matters related to privacy and data protection

Support internal legal processes and risk management activities

Qualifications

Qualified lawyer in Japan

Minimum 3 years of legal practice or in-house legal experience

Native-level Japanese communication skills

English reading comprehension ability

Experience in corporate legal affairs and compliance matters

Knowledge of corporate regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks

Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Interest in technology-related business environments is an advantage

社内規程やコンプライアンス施策の整備支援

新規事業や各種プロジェクトに関する法務サポート

個人情報保護・データプライバシー関連業務

法務リスク管理および社内法務プロセス支援

応募資格

日本法弁護士資格

法律事務所または事業会社での法務経験3年以上

ネイティブレベルの日本語力

英文読解力

企業法務およびコンプライアンス関連経験

コーポレートガバナンス・法規制対応に関する知識

自立して業務推進できる方

テクノロジー関連業界への関心をお持ちの方歓迎
