Role Overview

In this position, you will oversee the successful delivery of software projects, collaborating closely with various teams and stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring projects meet their goals on time and within budget, while fostering effective communication and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage software projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Collaborate with teams to address issues, facilitate discussions, and resolve conflicts
  • Track project progress, identify and remove obstacles, and support team members
  • Gather and analyze client requirements, and manage change control throughout project phases
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and potential issues to clients and stakeholders
  • Lead distributed cross-functional teams and apply project management techniques effectively

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Agile/Waterfall project management in the IT/software industry
  • Proficient in technology, project management, and collaboration tools
  • Native Japanese and conversational English verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn and face new challenges
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with content management systems, portal platforms, and software development methodologies
  • Familiarity with JIRA, MS Project Plan, and Software Development Lifecycle
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated knowledge
