I am hiring an AI Full-Cycle Engineer for a fast-growing fintech and data AI group in Japan.
The company develops financial infrastructure, enterprise data platforms and production-grade generative AI systems for major financial institutions and large enterprise clients.

This is a fully remote position within Japan.

What you could work on
• Building LLM systems that extract financial metrics from earnings reports and disclosure documents
• Automating investment research reports and financial modelling workflows
• Developing AI agents and enterprise AI collaboration platforms
• Building an MCP gateway for AI agent governance, access control and security
• Extracting and structuring information from PDFs, XBRL files and websites using OCR, scraping and LLMs
• Developing AI-powered products for finance, insurance, investment research and commercial real estate
• Building AI-ready data platforms for government institutions and institutional investors
• Designing evaluation systems to monitor LLM accuracy and quality over time
• Combining human review and automated AI evaluation to improve reliability
• Taking AI prototypes through architecture design, implementation and production deployment

Full-cycle ownership
You can work across the entire AI technology stack, including data ingestion, ETL, LLM applications, cloud infrastructure, APIs, frontend integration, evaluation and production operations.
Production AI in regulated industries
You will solve problems where accuracy, security, explainability and governance matter. The team works on real production systems for financial institutions and enterprise clients, rather than isolated proof-of-concept projects.
Advanced AI engineering
The team is actively exploring and implementing technologies such as:

What the team is looking for
• Software development experience in any programming language
• Experience developing a product or system using generative AI or LLMs
• Experience working with generative AI APIs, platforms or SaaS products
• Ability to take ownership beyond a narrowly defined engineering scope
• Strong interest in building reliable AI systems that solve real business problems
• Ability to collaborate with product, data, infrastructure and client-facing teams
