Our client, a hotel in Sapporo, Japan, is seeking a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join their pre-opening culinary team. This role offers the opportunity to support kitchen operations and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced pre-opening environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items per hotel standards
- Assist in daily kitchen operations with Chef de Partie
- Ensure food quality and portion control standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen section
- Follow HACCP and food safety standards
- Support kitchen setup during pre-opening phase
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory control
- Collaborate with team for excellent guest dining experiences
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hotel or restaurant kitchen
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with HACCP and food safety standards
- Ability to communicate effectively in Japanese
- Experience in pre-opening hotel environments is preferred but not mandatory
