Data Engineer - English Only OK/Global Environment

The company is one of the leading global retail company. They owns several chains not only in Japan, but also worldwide. They are now seeking to transform the traditional manufacturing industry into a new digital retail industry that specializes on the commercialization of information.

Job Description

They are looking for a data engineer to join toe help build the data pipeline used for analysing all their service's applications and websites.

You will be responsible for the development and stable operation of the platform that collects, stores, processes, and provides global end-to-end data for a world-class apparel company, while coordinating requirements from various stakeholders and taking into account scope, schedule, cost, quality, etc.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience on building applications for data access or datalake database
• Strong experience opearting in backend systems such as API and DB
• Familiar with developing and optimising application that access data on a regular basis.
• Work experience with Python, Java, GCP and BigQuery
• Business level English or Japanese
