【Roles and responsibilities】
・ Executing and delivering a wide range of projects in conjunction with other WMS teams around the region and with Tax, Assurance and Advisory practices in Japan.
・ Client projects require knowledge of customs valuation, classification, Free Trade Agreements, import / export compliance, Japan-specific procedures and protocols and trade strategy development. Candidates will also be expected to identify potential opportunities to improve trade efficiency and savings as well as improvements in compliance.
・ Experience with implementation of global trade automation solutions is helpful.
・ Candidates will be expected to assume a proactive role in planning and executing practice improvements, business development, and other initiatives to develop and create opportunities for the WMS business

・Work with other WMS teams tax, audit, and advisory departments to implement and execute various projects.

・Client projects require in-depth knowledge of customs assessment and classification, free trade agreements, import/export compliance, Japan-specific procedures and protocols, and trade strategy formulation. It also requires identifying potential opportunities for trade efficiency, cost reduction and compliance improvement.

・If you have experience in implementing global trade automation solutions, you can make use of it.

・You will play an active role in planning and executing business improvement, business development, and other initiatives to develop and create opportunities for the WMS business.
