Responsibilities:
- Develop backend systems for a global English-language media platform
- Work on CMS, ID, CRM, data, web, and mobile-related systems
- Collaborate with editorial, product, marketing, and overseas development teams
- Improve architecture, code quality, and development processes
- Help bring more backend development in-house
- Strong backend development experience
- Code review and system quality improvement experience
- Ability to explain technical topics to non-engineers
- Business-level Japanese & English
