A leading Prime-listed Japanese FinTech company is hiring an AI Engineer in Tokyo.
This is a platform engineering role for engineers who want to build the infrastructure behind production AI agents across a large ERP SaaS ecosystem.

What you will work on:
• Build and operate an internal AI Agent Platform
• Design APIs, SDKs, runtime systems, and tooling for AI agent development
• Enable ERP product teams to prototype and deploy AI-powered agents safely
• Integrate LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, and other models into production systems
• Build reliable backend and platform infrastructure using cloud, containers, and IaC
• Improve developer experience, observability, CI/CD, and production reliability
• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams across the ERP organization

Ideal background:
• Strong backend or platform engineering experience
• Experience with APIs, microservices, distributed systems, or internal platforms
• Experience building tools, SDKs, infrastructure, or platforms used by other engineers
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Experience integrating LLM APIs into production systems
• Product mindset and ability to translate high-level requirements into technical design
• Business-level English communication

Compensation: Up to JPY 11M
