Our client, a leading company in the retail industry focusing on sports-related products, is seeking an Accountant with Big 4 or consulting experience for a hybrid role in Tokyo. This permanent position offers the chance to transition from consulting to an in-house role, working closely with the CFO to ensure financial compliance and asset security. The role offers a competitive salary of 7-8 million JPY and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, sports-loving environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • - Ensure accurate financial data and statements
  • - Ensure financial, tax, and administrative compliance
  • - Implement global financial strategies and transformation projects
  • - Perform risk management duties
  • - Secure company's financial assets

Qualifications:
  • - 3+ years in Big 4 audit firm
  • - Corporate accounting experience in Japan
  • - Native-level Japanese proficiency
  • - Business-level English proficiency
  • - Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • - Experience with financial tools and taxation
  • - Experience in risk management duties
  • - Experience in implementing financial strategies
