We need a Web Operations Administrator to join our growing team. You will need extensive experience in Linux Administration and Perl and Python scripting.

You will be responsible for the administration of our global full-cycle web-based applications. You will cover testing, integration, onboarding, deployment, monitoring, operation, maintenance, tuning and repair of our Cloud/PaaS based environments. We expect you to have in-depth knowledge of load-balancing for content delivery networks.

Solid communication skills are necessary for this role. You will need to be fluent in English. 

Required Skills

• No Japanese language skills required
• Fluent level English
• Experience with Linux System Administration (preferably Red Hat)                  
• Experience with either Perl or Python scripting                            
• Experience with web architecture (performance, availability, scalability, and disaster recovery, capacity planning)                         
• Experience with HTTP servers and application servers                
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools                             
• Experience with networking protocols (HTTP and TCP/IP).
• Knowledge of load-balancing and content delivery networks to improve reliability                       
• General knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases
• Problem-solving abilities
• An interest in emerging technologies and IT trends
