Your Responsibilities

As Senior Test Engineer you will be in charge of creating advanced quality self-operating test software using FOSS solutions.
You will evaluate test priorities, setting process and run automation testing strategies for all departments, with the goal of improving the quality of the software continuously.

The Skills and Experience You Need To Succeed

Technical Skills

• 3 to 5 years experience working as a Test Engineer
• Solid working experience with SCM/VCS
• Knowledge and background in design of automated tests (Webdriver/Cucumber)
• Good Exposure with Java, JavaScript/CSS/HTML and databases (MySQL etc)
• Experienced with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent)
• Comfortable with Tomcat is prefered

Other MANDATORY Requirements

• Computer Science Bachelor, or equivalent level of experience
• Business English AND Fluent in Japanese (reading/speaking) JLPT N2 or N1 equivalent.
• Already based in Japan
