We are looking for a Network Engineer

This is the ideal position for a good communicator with expert technical knowledge.

You will be managing and consulting on network projects as part of our internal team. Extensive knowledge of LAN switch technology and routing protocols is required. Knowledge of current developments in network services is an advantage.

You will be working for a European company where good communication is essential. You will need to be fluent in Japanese and English for this position.

Required Skills

• Fluent level Japanese.
• Fluent level English.
• 7 years’ experience working in IT, with 3-4 years of experience working for a large company.
• Strong understanding of routing protocols EIGRP and BGP, MPLS, QoS.
• Good working knowledge of Internetworking, IP routing protocols, and troubleshooting MPLS/IP VPN based networks.
• In-depth knowledge, at least 3-4 years in LAN switch technology.
• Strong project management skills, at least 3-4 years leading Network or related IT projects from initiation to implementation.
• Understanding of current and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrated customer focus.
• Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills.
• Certified in Cisco internetworking, CCNP or CCIE.
• Certified in project management, PMP or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and methodologies preferred.
