Our Client

This is an opportunity to work for an international fashion brand. This company is an industry leader with a growing presence in Japan. As a Merchandising Buyer, you will work closely with the Merchandising Department.

Your Responsibilities

• Purchase various products for men's and women's lines, eg. RTW, eyewear, leather goods & accessories.
• Create and propose Japanese market reports and product development for the US head office.
• Analysis of product sales trends and create reports.
• Teach junior merchandising staff.
• You will be in charge of purchasing items to be sold at Japanese stores.
• Open new shops and order goods for events.
• To instruct movement of store inventory according to product sales trends.

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

• 2 years’ experience of buying for a multinational company within the Fashion sector.
• Japanese language skills.
• English language skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
