Our Client

Specialized Group’s client is a Leading American Medical Technology company with a growing team in Japan.

Your Responsibilities

• The Director will lead a team of product managers in Japan as well as coordinate with global marketing to launch new products while managing the performance of the current product range.
• Lead the organization in developing and implementing marketing collaterals, promotional and educational events, and congresses that support and enhance the Japan brand image.
• Shape the market for new and existing products through customer insights, thought leadership, and engagement with relevant stakeholders. Maintain and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders as well as academic and professional societies.
• Perform as a highly trusted business partner to the sales team and the GM by being customer-centric and responsive. Effectively balance customer views and the voice of the business.

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

• Native-level Japanese language skills.
• Business-level English language skills.
• 8+ years of relevant marketing experience.
• Experience in marketing for the medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
• Ability to effectively influence cross-functional peers
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and executive presence.
• Experience managing direct reports and multi-level reporting organization.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar marketing budgets.
• Global mindset and career path to assume a senior leadership position
