As an IT Field Engineer you will be responsible for supporting their clients by visiting their site and plants within your designated area.

Your Responsibilities

• Integration of new software solutions into existing environments
• System installation/configuration
• Testing and validation
• Problem analysis and elimination of errors (or Escalate to Developers)
• Customer trainings
• Supporting customer staff during launching phases while ramping up the production
• Propose the Software maintenance support
• Ongoing remote or onsite production support
• Follow up on IT incidents
• Software updates
• Create documents such as procedure, trouble report

The Skills and Experience You Need To Succeed

• Server and workstation administration on Windows and UNIX
• Installation and troubleshooting of hardware platforms
• Network technology and data communications
• ORACLE and Microsoft SQL Server installation and administration
• Webserver installation, management and troubleshooting
• Fluent Japanese and good command of English
• Some knowledge in industrial automation, fieldbus technique and PLC programming are a nice plus to have
