Our client is a very successful Artificial Intelligence (AI) company developing disruptive applications. They are now moving to the next stage of their business plan and would like to hire a top-level head of engineering. 

Your Responsibilities

• Drive and grow the software engineering teams.
• Lead projects and serve as a technical expert.
• Interact with upper management and business teams.
• Work on new products and obtain requirements from clients.
• Oversee researchers and AI engineers to develop high-quality solutions.

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

• Extensive experience in software development ( at least 8 years).
• 3 years’ experience in a leadership position (Team Lead, Architect, Head of engineering, etc.)
• Hands-on approach, capacity to code, review code, architect solutions.
• Experience in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, back-end architecture.
• Experience with SaaS, Cloud applications, AWS or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Japanese is not required.
• Experience with AI/ML is not a must.
