A Global Insurance Company is currently looking for a Finance Operation Team Leader.
Your Responsibilities
1. Manage day to day accounting operations
- Manage bank accounts and the company’s liquidity position. Approve daily bank transfer
- Approve expense payment requests.
- Oversee daily process to make sure payments to policyholders, vendors and employees etc. are processed properly and timely.
- Oversee journal entries and make sure entries are done accurately and timely
- Make sure daily and monthly bank account reconciliation are done accurately and timely.
- Hold training for staff in other departments who submit payment requests
- Respond to various inquiries about accounting operations
- Design efficient and robust operational process
2. Manage daily operation staff
Manage daily operation team (4 to 5 team of perm, temp and contractors). Help them to create more efficient and effective procedure
The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed
- Prior experience in accounting-related positions is a plus
- Prior experience in Insurance industry is a plus
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Management/Business or related academic field
- Solid understanding Financial Daily Operation using ERP system
- Solid understanding of J GAAP
- Basic English Communication skill (Email and basic verbal communication)
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Pay attention to details
- Strong motivation for efficiency improvements, standardization and simplification
- Positive mindset
- Flexibility and appetite to learn
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Results focused
- Japanese: fluent (both spoken and written)
- English: basic (both spoken and written)
