Finance Director

Currently, they are looking for an experienced bilingual Finance Director to take their Japan team to the next step of their planned growth as a business.

Job Description:

• Heading the division as the number one person for Japan in finance, the Finance Director is responsible for the overall Finance and Accounting functions within the company; overseeing the General Accounting, FP&A, Auditing and Tax teams
• Identifying, implementing, monitoring, reviewing and evaluating budgetary and accounting strategies, policies and plans in consultation with other heads of departments within the company
• Analyze and present monthly, quarterly and yearly financial results and provide reports to the company Finance Headquarters regionally
• Advising on investment strategies in Mergers and Acquisition deals, including investment funding, cash flow management and the distribution of earnings
• Driving strategic business plans in Japan including the planning and delivering of medium to long term profit forecasts, budgeting and financial reporting
  
  Requirements:
• Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Masters' Degree with relevant working experience
• At least 10-15 years of working experience within Back-Office Finance Teams, and with a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Head of Finance in any industry, with preferences to a foreign organization within Japan
• Confident with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English (Business to Fluent level) and Japanese (Fluent to Native level)
• Comfortable working with regional stakeholders from different time zones
• Ability to work in a fast paced and aggressive environment
• Strong analytical skills, highly motivated and results oriented
