Your Responsibilities

• This is a high-level strategic position for a senior specialist with a strong business orientation.
• Title based on seniority (Specialist, Manager, etc.).
• You will be in charge of work on the Data Strategy related to retail, logistics, and SCM projects.
• You will work with a team of data scientist and engineers to decide on which data to collect and how to analyze it and use it.
• This position offers the opportunity to have a strong impact on the business.

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

• Business-level Japanese language skills
• Business-level English language skills
• Excellent consulting skills.
• Experience with some of the following: R, Python, Scala, Java for Data Analysis
• Experience with Big Data (Experience with IoT preferred)
• Experience with data governance.
• knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem, or large data storage, NoSQL, AWS RDS, Elasticsearch, data lakes, etc.
