Specialized Group is looking for a talented individual, who can work as a Marketing Specialist for the Japanese Institutional Client base here in Tokyo.

Our Client

Is looking to increase their scope within the Asset Management business here in Japan. This individual will play a pivotal part in this mandate.

Your Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Head of Marketing, Japan and Korea, Distribution partners, Country Heads and Regional Marketing to execute marketing plans and strategies 
• Implement progressive initiatives around our investment capabilities and solutions, translate client insights into compelling propositions, create meaningful client engagement opportunities (Events, for example), and help grow the respective businesses through smart marketing activities and communications 
• Creation of fund sales promotion materials (sales materials for general investors, supporting materials for sales materials, various reports and letters, materials for proposals for sales companies, etc.) 
• Creation of various contents (Web pages, videos, etc.) on the premise of being viewed in a digital environment 
• Apply investment marketing and thought leadership content to various properties (Events, web, collateral, emails, videos, etc.) 
• Help manage local agencies as necessary for PR, advertising and media buying

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

• Excellent communication skills in both Japanese (Native-level) and English (Business-level)
• Experience (4+ years) in Japan, preferably in asset management and financial services 
• A broad understanding of marketing disciplines ranging from advertising, PR, digital, events management, content marketing and marketing automation to research and data analytics 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to lead, collaborate, drive results and operate effectively in a global organization 
• Proven track record of designing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns 
• Able to influence multiple stakeholders and work towards a common goal
